If you got that covered, then lets get to it and figure out which stones are best suited for your energetic needs!
There are SO MANY crystals & stones that are great for protection, but these are my top five. Also, there isn’t a stone out there that has one single use. All stones are great for multiple purposes, each carrying their own unique energetic vibration. The combination of their abilities is what make them such powerful protection stones. They resonate with our energy influencing different aspects of our self in order to incorporate their healing powers for our greatest good.
The Protection CRystals
Labradorite
Labradorite is my favorite stone when it comes to protecting my energy. It acts as a force field to the aura, shielding us from others tapping into our personal energy and draining us. It prevents energy leaks in our auric field which can be due to poor or lack of boundaries.
The stone holds in our own natural energies, boosts, cleanse, and balance our chakras. It’s great for the higher chakras, but is also a grounding stone allowing us to integrate higher energies into the physical realm.
Since Labradorite acts as a coat of armor it shields us form psychic attack, which can be anything that has someone else pulling on our energy. Examples would be:
- Ill wishing or someone hating on you.
- Gossip
- Fixation on ruining you
- Obsession (someone is interested in you love/sex wise, but you do not return the feelings)
- Someone who wants something from you that you do not want to give.
Here are some other energies of this stone that blend and help create these protective qualities:
- Replaces anxiety, depression, & hopelessness with self confidence, enthusiasm, & inspiration.
- Improves ones ability to cooperate in harmony with others.
- Clarifies views, objectives & goals.
- Stimulates self discovery, inspiration, intuition, insight, clairvoyance, perception, ancient wisdom, transformation, knowledge, discovery, courage, vitality.
Black Tourmaline
Black Tourmaline is not only great for protecting our personal energy, but also our space. It is great for all around protection. The black grounding stone either acts like a sponge turning negative energy into positive, or repels lower frequencies.
This stone is great for those that are sensitive to electromagnetic sources such as cell phones, laptops, electronics.
Many use it in their homes by setting pieces near appliances or gadgets that give off EMF’s. Wearing it as jewelry can help those whom are super sensitive to these frequencies.
I keep a large chunk of black tourmaline next to my front door which is said to keep the negative out of the home. In my bedroom i place 4 pieces of black tourmaline around my bed, one at each corner. SAFE SLEEPING
You will find a lot of protection stones are also grounding, or root chakra stones. It is very important to be grounded in our physical bodies in order to help us feel safe and secure. Black Tourmaline will do exactly that!
black onyx
This is a strength giving stone that provides support for self discipline. Black Onyx will absorb and transform negative energy and helps in preventing the drain of our own personal energy.
A wonderful stone for creating boundaries in toxic relationships. The stone will help heal old wounds & provide us the courage to stand up for ourselves.
Black Onyx is a soothing stone that helps release fear & worries in the mind. It provides inner strength and is a great stone to aid in grief. This allows one to bring back balance & strength when there are emotional and mental stressors in life.
Pyrite
You know the fool’s gold rock you can find in little touristy gift shops? That’s pyrite and I have always over looked this stone until I read up on it. It has so many positive aspects to it & is one of my new favorites.
Pyrite acts as a shield to negative energy of all kinds, including environmental pollution, and physical danger. When wearing or carrying pyrite it blocks energy leaks in our aura and mends auric tears which will prevent not only our energy from draining, but others from attaching or hooking into our energy.
Pyrite is a grounding stone that will balance the energetic fields. It draws energy from the earth through our body & into our aura creating a shield. Not only does it protect ones self, but gives off an energy that supports boldness & assertive action when protecting others, the planet, or standing up for something in community.
Some other positive energies to this stone:
- Promotes good physical health and emotional well being.
- attracts abundance, wealth & prosperity via it’s creative energies of manifestation
- Deflects and helps release negative & inhibiting patterns & behaviors.
This is definitely a favorite stone of mine.
smoky quartz
And last, but definitely not least another favorite of mine… smoky quartz. I say that a lot, but i seriously love rocks so much. A talisman for the Root Chakra. Acts as an anchor in the natural world. The smoky quartz draws down healing white light energy into the crown chakra to be deeply rooted.
It is a stone of power, strength and stability activating our survival instincts in the purest way. Smoky Quartz will disperse fear, lift negativity and depression from the mind. It can ward off negative thinking releiving one from stress, anxiety, panic attacks and eliminate worry and doubt.
Smoky Quartz neurtralizes negative vibrations by absorbing & transmuting the energy back into the earth. Blocks geopathic stress and absorbs electromagnetic smog given off by powerlines & electronics.
A wonderful stone to wear or protect ones space. Especially the car. While driving it reduces stress and increase concentration lessening road rage and accidents.
Can also protect our possesions & home.
